Summer Job 2011

Are you a student looking for a full-time summer job that will offer you marketing and presentation experience? Do you like exploring rural Alberta? We have a job for you!

GeoTourism Canada is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Marketing & Communications Assistant to work over the summer. This position is part of the Summer Temporary Employment Program, and is full time. Tasks will include touring to different communities to share what GeoTourism Canada is and to deliver materials. Strong communication, time management and people skills would be an asset. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle will be required. Position will pay $12-15/hr plus compensation for travel.

GeoTourism Canada is a not-for-profit organization publishing theme-based travel guides designed for tourists with specialized interests, including nature, history, agriculture, art. The guides created by GeoTourism Canada offer new and unique ways to explore Alberta, and each guide is carefully researched to ensure the information is the best available. GeoTourism Canada's goal is to create meaningful and unique travel experiences in rural Alberta, for tourists from afar and for those of us here at home.
